British rule ends in Hong Kong as it reverted back to the control of mainland China. The law was two governments one country, but it wasn't long until Bejing began to take control resulting in restrictions of political and religious freedoms. A Chinese diaspora to the US ensued and religious persuction began to drive the Hong Kong Church underground.
